Other people in the photo: Back row left: Olive and John Long (John was Roy’s best man at our wedding in 1956), In front of them, Alan (holding baby) and Brenda Crace. These two couples, along with Frank and Vera Beasor and others were part of a young couples’ group. In front of Brenda is ‘Uncle Jack’ a friend of my father, Fred Cullum, and elder in the church. Centre of that row are Mr. & Mrs. Clothier (he, another elder). Next to Mr. Clothier, Winnie Clark with her children David and Hazel in front. Winnie’s two sisters are also in the picture, Elsie over Ethel Beasor’s left shoulder and May beside John Long, but I can’t remember their surname (neither was married). * Vera might know. George Clark probably took the picture. As there are people I don’t recognize, I would go for the later date – possibly a ‘farewell’ picture before the relocation to Avery Hill.
* Update July 2017 via email: I’ve remembered Elsie and May’s surname as being Seagain.

I named ‘Uncle Jack’ but his surname was White. Possibly first name John?
And Charles doesn’t resonate as Mr. Clothier’s first name but any other suggestion eludes me.
Have something to add?
