Price increase for Ancestry?
Ancestry has increased its subscription rates for new members on the Ancestry.co.uk site, although the monthly sub at the most basic level has gone down. The changes make sense in that there is a clearer relationship between monthly and annual rates, generally the latter is approximately 10 times more. The ‘Premium’ level is the exception, at £129 pa (was £107-40) against £14-99 pm, although I have also seen the annual figure showing as £149! Family Tree Maker September update
An update for Family Tree Maker 2012 was released on Friday (see Note 1 for info on the upgrade process). Alongside improvements to the tree sync facility and bug fixes, it is definitely an upgrade as it introduces a number of new features. All very welcome, but see note 3 for a downside.
